When these sets came out
Two collections, really. A childhood one that stops dead in the mid-2000s, and a grown-up one that starts again decades later — with 2007–2016 a straight 10 years of nothing in between.
Release year of each set, not when it was bought.
What it's made of
Plus 29 smaller themes — 16,283 pieces between them.

Reviews
Two sources. My LEGO Insiders account lists 153 registrations — 152 distinct sets, because one is registered twice — and 104,367 pieces; my order history holds another 90 sets I bought and never registered — mostly gift-with-purchase and promotional sets, plus a pile still sealed. Cancelled and not-yet-shipped orders are excluded. Per-set piece counts, themes, release years, minifigure lists and minifigure rarity come from the Rebrickable catalogue, which counts spare parts and so runs about 0.5% over LEGO's own figures. Launch prices are the US RRP from Brickset — known for 189 of 242 sets, so the launch-value total covers those only; promotional and gift-with-purchase sets were never sold at retail and have no price to show. Box art is LEGO's.
